Challenge
Kinetik’s healthcare transport platform had grown without a system behind it. Manual, error-prone processes still ran much of the operation, its brand no longer reflected its maturity, and no shared understanding existed of how patients, providers, and payers moved through the ecosystem.
Strategy
The reframe centred on trust. Instead of asking what capability to add next, the question became how to make each interaction feel clear, safe, and dependable for people navigating a highly regulated healthcare system, prioritising consistency and long-term scalability over short-term fixes.
Brand
The identity reframed Kinetik as a bold, service-driven partner invested in outcomes for the people who depend on it: access to care. A purple in place of the expected medical blue, a warm palette of greens, salmon, and gold, and a playful serif give the brand presence, while editorial photography of its users mixed with painterly urban landscape keeps that human stake visible.
Website
The site had to carry the brand’s story as well as organise it. Editorial layouts led with large typeface and animated visuals to keep the human-impact narrative front and centre, while splitting an undifferentiated content pile into whitepapers, articles, news, and case studies gave it a structure to live in.
Product
Each product served a different user and carried its own set of challenges. Atlas and Compass gave coordinators dense, data-heavy interfaces built for speed, Kinetik Health gave elderly patients large touch targets and a calm experience, and Pulse automated claims across thousands of payors with no existing interface to build from. One design system held all four together.
The collaboration with Kinetik resulted in our client achieving the following results.
