Pilot44’s existing identity wasn’t keeping pace with its positioning. Operating at the intersection of corporate expertise and startup agility, the brand needed a communication strategy, visual identity, and digital presence that could hold both without flattening either.
Strategy
Research and benchmarking grounded the brand character before any visual work began. The verbal identity was built around a builder’s mentality — informative and confident yet approachable — giving Pilot44 a voice aligned with its role as “Architects of Growth.”
Brand
The visual system captures the tension between corporate solidity and startup energy. A custom geometric wordmark conveys strength, while a palette pairing stoic stone tones with hi-viz yellow introduces contrast and momentum. Illustration styles drawn from scientific and architectural references reinforce precision and reliability across the system.
Website
The identity was translated into a modular homepage built on an editorial grid, with clear hierarchy, neutral backgrounds, and bold yellow accents. Ten HubSpot modules and blog thumbnail templates were developed as part of a scalable system, alongside usage guidelines that allow the team to manage and extend content independently.
